Paige Renee Singleton was a fiercely loyal friend, cherished sister, and deeply beloved daughter. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. In all her travels, she hit six of the seven continents, Antarctica being the only unvisited location.įor a short time, she nurtured a small business she co-owned with two dear friends Lily and Jess, The House of Dumpling selling the best dumplings in town. Paige also traveled, having visited The Netherlands, Spain where she ran with bulls, Canada, and London many more times. Paige was able to combine her joy of travel and food when St James sent her to London for a cheese mongering conference. However, she never took her attention away from the delicious food which she loved so much and those she worked alongside. She was the assistant manager with the responsibilities of Human Resources and front of house management. Paige’s happiest years were spent working at the St James Cheese Company. They explored Chile, Columbia, Bolivia, Peru, Machu Picchu, Argentina, Salt Flats and Brazil, with a pit stop along the way in Dubai. Before coming home to Louisiana, she backpacked across the South American continent for one month with her dear friend Sarah Collier from Great Britain. While there she continued her love for travel, volunteering in Thailand and seeking the wonders of New Zealand and Fiji.

In 2011 she graduated with a master's degree in Art Administration and spent two additional years in Sydney engaging herself in art curations. Instead of settling into life state-side, she decided to lean into her nature and left the country again to attend the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. In 2009, she graduated with a double major, Bachelor of Art in Art History and Bachelor of Science in Sociology. In her senior year she traveled again to France this time for fun with four classmates to explore all the great museums of Paris. During her freshman year she volunteered at the Cannes film festival in France, sophomore year a surf instructor to underserved children in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, junior year she traveled to Tanzania with Chaplin's office at Holy Cross to assist in the construction of a church school. She was blessed to be recruited to attend the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts where she continued to serve. Throughout high school she was devoted to volunteering and serving. As a 2005 graduate of McMain High School, New Orleans Math and Science Academy and New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, Paige left New Orleans three weeks before Hurricane Katrina, taking all she owned with her to begin her college journey. On February 26, 1987, Vander and Paula Singleton were blessed with their first born, Paige Renee Singleton. World traveler and foodie Paige Renee Singleton, has not left us, but has embarked on her greatest journey, October 5, 2022, passing away at the tender age of 35.
